While the straightforward business choice would be to disallow any catch-up sessions, we’ve worked hard to create a policy that provides some flexibility to our customers without adversely affecting our business. If you need to book a catch-up session, please go to your Member Hub and follow the instructions below.
We urge you to make every effort to attend your scheduled weekly lesson, as we cannot offer credits or refunds for missed lessons; except for those with a long-term injury or illness, accompanied by a doctor’s note.
Absence Requests can be made up to 10 days in advance of the date your child is unable to attend and can not be made retrospectively.
Please note that catch-up sessions are not available to be used for private lessons, swim squad sessions or for sessions taking place during our crash courses.
Our weekly lessons are held Monday-Sunday at Davenies and on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Godstowe.
How Does It Work?
- Log in to Member Hub
- Click ‘Notify Us Of An Absence.’
- Select the participant who will be absent.
- Choose the lesson date the swimmer will miss – absence requests can be made up to 10 days in advance and can not be made retrospectively.
- Choose the reason for the absence.
- Accept the absence policy.
- Select either ‘Book Catch Up Now’ or ‘Book Catch Up Later.’
- If you choose ‘Book Catch Up Now’ you will see live availability options for catch-up classes, with available dates/times from now until 10 days after the missed lesson date.
- If you choose ‘Book Catch Up Later,’ the catch-up token will remain on your account and can be used to book a catch-up lesson at your convenience. Catch-up tokens will expire 10 days after the missed lesson date, so they need to be used before then.
- Catch-up sessions are charged at £6.00, added to your next monthly invoice.
