Friday 13th March - 5.30pm - Saturday 14th March - 5.30pm

Can we swim for 24-hours non-stop as a community?

Davenies School are opening their doors again to Sports Nut and the local community for 24-hours from 5.30pm on Friday 13th March - 5.30pm on Saturday 14th March to help raise money for Sport Relief. Can you help us to swim non-stop for the full 24-hours?!

Distance Award Week

We're just a little bit NUTS!

This is the 4th time Sports Nut have attempted this monumental effort of swimming non-stop for 24-hours and we look to make it even bigger and better this time as we try to surpass our fundraising total of £5800 from 2018. It's once again a £10 donation per swimmer, plus your sponsorship and JustGIving efforts... Are you ready to swim?

Swim for 24-hours?! Oh yes we can!

Sports Nut's 24-hour Swimathon is back in 2020 and we need you!

We're raising money for Sport Relief once again, and are looking for inspired and dedicated children (age 4+) and adults to help Team Sports Nut swim as a collective for 24-hours non-stop.

Don't worry, you don't have to swim for the full 24-hours, just sign up to a 45 minute or 1 hour slot and as a community we can make it together!

Remember when we smashed Swimathon 2018?!

Do you and your friends fancy entering a team?

Have a chat with your friends and get a team together (max. 5 swimmers). Sign up Mum & Dad for a bit of family fun. Get your neighbours, cubs, brownies, sports club, colleagues and book clubs involved!

You can choose to swim widths (shallow end or deep end) or lengths. There is a time slot for everyone to enjoy! Weirdly... there's a fair bit of availability at 3am?!

We need your help Beaconsfield!

We are looking for over 500 swimmers to come and join us at Davenies School to help us in our challenge.

Can you help us smash our fundraising challenge and help us swim non-stop for 24-hours?!
We're calling all swimmers over the age of 4 to help; widths or lengths, fast or slow, young or... not so young... gather together as a community to help us at Sports Nut raise money for Sport Relief!

Time slots range from 45 minutes for the widths sessions all the way up to 1 hour for the silly o'clock in the morning length sessions.....ANY TAKERS?!

Can our family enter a team? And how much does it cost?

YES! Mums and Dads, Granny and Grandpas, Aunties and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews are all invited. Why not enter a team of family members and challenge another family team to see who can swim the furthest. #ITSGAMEON!

The cost for each swimmer is £10 and all the money will go towards the Sport Relief fund. The kids will also get a Sports Nut Swimathon swimming hat which you get to keep along with an enormous sense of PRIDE and ACHIEVEMENT. Go for it....sign up today!

Our swimming lesson is at that time, how does it work?

This year, it's a little bit different! Swimming lessons on Friday 13th March (5-8pm) will be cancelled, but swimming lessons that take place on Saturday 14th March will go ahead as normal. Your children cover 1 swim challenge and 1 skills challenge each lesson, and the Swimathon week will be no different... except all the widths and lengths will be tallied throughout the lesson. The final 10 minutes will be a big 'distance' push (much like our distance award weeks) and it will all count towards our Swimathon 2020 grand total. You won't be asked to donate the £10 per swimmer if you are taking part in your usual lesson (although you are of course more than welcome to... it's all going to Sport Relief!), but we would love you to share our JustGiving page with your friends and family and be sponsored for taking part!

Can I do my own fundraising?

Absolutely! The more money we raise, the better. Sports Nut have set up their very own JUST GIVING page which will allow friends and family to easily sponsor your challenge. Why not ask for 50p a length, 20p a width or £20 for not stopping? These are all good ideas and if you need any more help with regards to sponsorship, please don't hesitate to ask.
