Whilst the obvious business decision is not to allow any catch-up sessions, we have worked hard to produce a policy that offers some flexibility to customers and doesn’t cripple us as a business.  If you need to book a catch-up lesson then please go to your Member Hub and follow the process shown below.

Please do your very best to attend your booked weekly lesson as we are not able to offer credits or refunds for missed lessons – except for those who have a long-term injury or illness, accompanied by a doctor’s note. Catch-Up Lessons will be charged at £6.00.

Absence Requests can only be made up to 10 days in advance of the date that your child is unable to attend.  Please also be aware that we do not offer catch-up lessons for private lessons.

Please note that we run lessons Monday-Sunday at Davenies & on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday at Godstowe.

How does it work?

1. Go to Member Hub and login 
2. Click ‘Notify Us Of An Absence’ 
3. Select the participant that will be absent
4. Choose the lesson date the swimmer will be absent – absence requests can be made up to 10 days in advance of the lesson the swimmer will be missing
5. Choose the reason for absence
6. Accept the absence policy
7. Choose either ‘Book Catch Up Now’ or ‘Book Catch Up Later’
8. If choosing ‘Book Catch Up Now’ you will be presented with options showing live availability for a catch up class – you will be presented with available dates/times between now and 10 days after the date of the lesson the swimmer will be missing
9. If choosing ‘Book Catch Up Later’ the Catch Up token will remain on your account and can be used to book a catch up lesson at your convenience – Catch Up tokens will expire 10 days after the date of the lesson the swimmer will be missing so it needs to be used before then*

* For those missing lessons in July 2024, we will allow any unused tokens to be extended to be used for catch up lessons in September 2024
